Location:
Chester Township, New Jersey. This position is primarily on-site to support collaboration, leadership, and client service. Some hybrid flexibility may be available once established, depending on experience, performance, court obligations, and client needs.

Job Description Independently manage sophisticated New Jersey family law matters from intake through resolution Represent clients in divorce, custody, parenting time, support, alimony, equitable distribution, domestic violence, and related proceedings Handle complex financial and high-asset matrimonial matters, negotiations, motion practice, discovery, hearings, and trials Develop case strategies and provide clients with practical, confident, and thoughtful counsel Lead court appearances, settlement conferences, mediations, and contested proceedings Mentor and collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support professionals Develop and strengthen client, professional, and referral relationships Contribute to strategic decisions involving practice growth, client service, and firm operations Help shape the long-term direction of an established family law practice Explore a potential future ownership or succession path based on mutual fit and long-term goals Qualifications Active New Jersey Bar membership in good standing 8+ years of substantial, recent New Jersey family law experience. Deep knowledge of New Jersey matrimonial and family law procedures Proven ability to independently manage an active and sophisticated caseload Strong New Jersey Family Court and litigation experience Trial experience strongly preferred Excellent legal writing, negotiation, advocacy, judgment, and client-communication skills Demonstrated leadership and sound business judgment Interest in developing client and referral relationships Genuine interest in a long-term leadership and potential ownership opportunity Portable book of business is valuable but not required Why You Will Love Working Here This is an opportunity to join an established practice with quality work, strong infrastructure, experienced support, and a clear need for future leadership.
