Licensed PIP Attorney (New Jersey)

Essex County Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced attorney licensed in both New Jersey (must) New York (preferred) to join our legal team. Experience is a must for part/full time position. Pay negotiable per diem or salary. Room for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of matters related to New York and New Jersey law regarding NJ/NY Personal Injury/BI Cases. Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, pleadings, motions and other legal correspondence. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and in preparation for trial Represent clients in court and arbitration proceedings, examinations under oath, and conducting plaintiff and defendant depositions. Collaborate with colleagues to effectively manage caseloads and ensure timely resolution of legal matters. Stay informed about changes in New York and New Jersey laws and regulations that may impact our clients and provide proactive guidance accordingly. Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other parties involved in legal matters. Preparation and trial work.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in New York and New Jersey. Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on New York and New Jersey law preferred. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct. Proficiency in legal software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Extensive experience in a specific area of law relevant to personal injury. Prior experience representing clients in court proceedings and other legal forums. Fluency in languages other than English is a plus.
