Job Description Assist with the defense of complex medical malpractice and healthcare liability matters. Conduct legal research and help develop case strategy. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, correspondence, and other legal documents. Assist with discovery, depositions, hearings, negotiations, and other litigation activities. Review and analyze medical records, evidence, and case-related materials. Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other legal professionals. Manage assigned tasks and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail. Collaborate with experienced attorneys while progressively taking on greater responsibility. Develop practical litigation skills and gain meaningful exposure to the full lifecycle of medical malpractice cases. Qualifications Active New Jersey Bar license required. 0-3 years of experience as an associate attorney. Strong interest in litigation and medical malpractice defense. Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Strong organization and attention to detail. Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities. Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and willingness to learn.
