Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional legal counsel, conducting thorough research, preparing court motions and depositions, and engaging directly with clients. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies across various practice areas. Draft and review legal documents including motions, pleadings, and client correspondence with precision and clarity. Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, developing case theories, and assisting with trial preparation activities. Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software; ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Participate in court depositions and assist attorneys during litigation proceedings to gather pertinent information. Provide legal counsel to clients by explaining complex legal concepts clearly and professionally. Support negotiations with opposing counsel on settlement agreements or other legal matters to achieve favorable outcomes. Conduct statutory and procedural legal research to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations across jurisdictions. Maintain ongoing communication with clients to update them on case progress and gather necessary information for case development. Skills PA and NJ bar admissions Excellent research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms to gather relevant case law and statutory information. Proven ability in legal writing—including drafting motions, pleadings, and client communications—with clarity and professionalism. Effective negotiation skills to advocate for clients' interests during settlement discussions or contractual negotiations. Familiarity with court procedures including depositions, trial preparation, motion filing, and procedural laws across jurisdictions. Experience in handling personal injury cases or employment disputes is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. Ability to adapt quickly to new practice areas or evolving legal requirements through continuous learning.
