Location:

Paramus, New Jersey - This is a full-time, 100% on-site position offering hands-on collaboration with an experienced litigation team and regular exposure to courts throughout Northern New Jersey.

Applicants must be admitted to practice law in New Jersey and have at least 1 year of personal injury litigation experience. Job Description Assist an experienced partner through all phases of personal injury litigation. Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery. Prepare substantive motions, briefs, and legal memoranda. Attend and conduct depositions. Argue motions before the court. Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations. Assist with trial preparation and gain valuable courtroom experience. Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and expert witnesses. Help manage an active caseload involving motor vehicle accidents and premises liability matters. Qualifications Active New Jersey Bar license. 1+ years of personal injury litigation experience on either the plaintiff or defense side. Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Comfortable working closely with a supervising partner. Ability to travel to courthouses throughout Northern New Jersey. Experience drafting discovery and motions preferred. Deposition and trial experience preferred.
