$170,000-$250,000 per year We are seeking an experienced Tax, Trusts & Estates Attorney to join a growing and sophisticated practice group. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned attorney with substantial experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, and business owners on complex estate, trust, and tax planning matters. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, excellent client relationship skills, and the ability to handle sophisticated multi-state trusts and estates matters across New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey . Mandatory Requirements to Apply J.D. from an accredited law school; LL.M. in Taxation preferred 10+ years of experience practicing Tax, Trusts & Estates law Active Bar admission in New York, Connecticut, or New Jersey Willingness to obtain admission in additional jurisdictions as needed Significant experience in sophisticated estate planning and trust administration Strong knowledge of estate, gift, fiduciary, and income tax planning Experience representing high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, and closely held businesses Excellent drafting, analytical, communication, and client relationship skills Roles & Responsibilities Advise clients on sophisticated estate planning strategies, including trusts, wills, wealth transfer, asset protection, and business succession planning Handle complex trust and estate administration matters Counsel clients on federal and state estate, gift, income, and fiduciary tax issues Collaborate with attorneys across the firm on tax, trust, estate, and multi-state planning matters Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional legal service Mentor junior attorneys and support the continued growth of the Trusts & Estates practice Bonus & Benefits + Salary Competitive salary: $170,000-$250,000 per year 401(k) and retirement plan Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value trusts and estates matters Professional growth and leadership opportunities within a growing practice Collaborative environment with cross-office exposure Work Location Roseland, NJ, New York, NY This is an in-person position , and candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office.
