Bar Full Job Description Job Summary:
Minimum 40 hours per week
  • Salary commensurate with experience.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our legal team. 5+ years experience required. The successful candidate will perform legal research, draft documents, and provide support in various areas of law, emphasis on Worker's Compensation and Liability Defense. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to grow their career in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Duties:
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, and briefs
  • Manage your own case load including case management and preparation for litigation
  • Attend court hearings and depositions as needed
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters
  • Perform administrative tasks related to legal matters, such as maintaining files and organizing documents
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar association
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
  • Experience with legal drafting and writing
