This role offers the opportunity to advise high-net-worth individuals and families on complex tax and estate planning strategies, lead a dedicated practice area, and mentor a talented team. Responsibilities Advise high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees, and executors on complex Trust & Estate matters. Provide comprehensive estate, gift, trust, and wealth transfer planning, including succession and charitable strategies. Review complex fiduciary, estate, and gift tax returns, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance. Research and advise on federal, state, and local tax issues impacting trusts and estates. Lead and develop the Trust & Estate practice, identifying business development and growth opportunities. Build and maintain strong client relationships, participating in proposals and client presentations. Mentor and develop staff and managers, providing technical guidance and oversight. Qualifications 10+ years of public accounting experience with a strong focus on Trust & Estate taxation. Active CPA or EA required; MST, JD, or LLM in Taxation is a plus. Deep knowledge of fiduciary income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxation. Proven experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, and estates. Strong technical research, tax planning, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated leadership and team development experience. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client advisory skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to practice growth. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and tax research platforms; ProSystem fx experience is a plus.
