Responsibilities Lawyer
Corporate Counsel Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following (other duties may be assigned),- Draft, manage and revise contracts including but not limited to sales agreements, vendor agreements, and real estate leases.
- Handle customer collections (legal letters, liens, bankruptcies, lawsuits, and satisfaction letters).
- Review advertising materials and other publications for legal compliance.
- Prepare and review construction financing and related closing documentations, mortgages, and satisfactions.
- Research and analyze various legal issues involving company operations.
- Review, analyze and interpret: applicable statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, and regulations relevant to the company.
- Prepare a variety of business and legal communications to internal and externalcustomers in addressing general business and legal matters.
- Collaborate and prepare company litigation and provide counsel forvarious departments, including Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Management.
- Represent the company on all traffic tickets including court appearances, and related documents. Qualifications Lawyer
- Corporate Counsel The qualified candidate should have a minimum of 3-4 years associate level experience or equivalent.
- Corporate Counsel Join a growing industry leader in building supplies with over 800 employees across Long Island, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. For compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $125K
- $170K. Compensation will be based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Lawyer
