Job Description
Job description: Plaintiff's Workers' compensation law firm is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation attorney to join our team. We are a busy law firm and this is an excellent opportunity for the right person to grow within a well established firm. This is a full time, in office position. Salary based on experience. Experience in Social Security Disability and bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation/ social security disability
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong negotiating and settlement skills
- Excellent time management, administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsiblities:
- Manage all aspects of workers' compensation cases
- Regularly communicate with counsel, clients, and potential clients
- Represent clients at hearings
- Conduct direct/cross examination of witnesses at hearings and depositions
- Draft necessary summations, appeals and rebuttals
- Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably
