Job Description

Russo Law Group, P.C. is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join our growing Trust & Estate Administration team on Long Island. We are looking for an attorney with experience handling probate and estate administration matters who can manage cases with professionalism, attention to detail, and compassion for clients navigating difficult family transitions. Responsibilities Handle probate and estate administration matters from start to finish Prepare and file probate and administration petitions in Surrogate's Court Draft related legal documents, including petitions, affidavits, accountings, and supporting filings Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, fiduciaries, courts, and financial institutions Manage deadlines, case progression, and follow-up throughout the administration process Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff Qualifications Admission to the New York State Bar required 3+ years of probate and estate administration experience preferred Strong familiarity with New York Surrogate's Court procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple matters independently Elder law and/or estate planning experience a plus What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity for long-term growth with an established Long Island law firm
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
