About the role This position is for a transactional attorney with strong commercial and some corporate law background. The position will report to the Associate General Counsel and will be primarily responsible for the preparation, negotiation and control of most corporate contracts; assist with some compliance matters; and support the company's mergers and acquisition activity, including managing and conducting due diligence, contract review and negotiation and conducting closings, as necessary. Responsibilities Prepares and/or reviews contracts involving various substantive areas of law: including, but not limited to, commercial, real estate, compliance, licensing and employment documents. Provides corporate governance advice to the organization, including preparation of policies.
