Position Summary The Feller Group, P.C. is seeking an experienced Elder Law / Trusts & Estates Attorney to join our growing team in our Katonah office. The successful candidate will provide trusted legal counsel, develop customized planning strategies, and build lasting client relationships while delivering an exceptional client experience. Responsibilities Conduct consultations with prospective and existing clients. Advise clients regarding estate planning, elder law, long-term care planning, asset protection, wills, trusts, probate, estate administration, trust administration, and Powers of Attorney. Develop customized estate planning strategies based on each client's unique goals and circumstances. Draft, review, and finalize wills, trusts, Powers of Attorney, health care proxies, living wills, deeds, and other estate planning documents. Oversee probate and estate administration matters from start to finish. Represent clients in court hearings, proceedings, and administrative matters when necessary. Review legal documents, pleadings, and filings for accuracy and compliance with New York law. Prepare and file court documents and other legal filings as needed. Obtain, review, and analyze legal documents, financial records, deeds, titles, and supporting documentation. Maintain accurate legal documentation, electronic case files, and matter management using LEAP. Collaborate with paralegals, financial advisors, accountants, healthcare providers, and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for clients. Stay current on developments in elder law, trusts and estates, probate, and related areas of New York law. Deliver exceptional client service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality. Perform other legal duties as assigned. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Licensed and in good standing with the New York State Bar. Previous experience practicing Elder Law, Estate Planning, Trusts & Estates, Probate, or related practice areas preferred. Strong legal drafting, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Professional, compassionate, and client-focused demeanor. High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint). Experience using Calendly or similar scheduling software. Experience using LEAP legal practice management software preferred. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team. Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience. Final Interview Pay:
$100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
