Legal Collections Administrator / Legal Accou Simon's Agency, Inc. - 3.0 Liverpool, NY Job Details Full-time $18 - $23 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Legal case management Wills, trusts & estate law Full Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with experience in legal administration, collections, or paralegal work to manage legal collection accounts, estate recovery matters, and compliance-related activities. This position serves as a liaison between clients, attorneys, courts, and internal departments, ensuring accounts are handled efficiently, ethically, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Legal Collections Administrator will oversee accounts from intake through resolution, maintaining accurate documentation and timely follow-up throughout the process. Responsibilities include coordinating with attorneys in multiple states regarding litigation and collection matters, managing estate and probate accounts, filing and tracking claims through surrogate and probate courts, working with estate administrators, executors, and estate attorneys, submitting insurance information for claims processing, managing attorney disputes and settlement activity, and referring accounts for legal action when appropriate. Additional responsibilities include maintaining detailed records of communications, agreements, court filings, and account activity while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, FDCPA, privacy regulations, and company policies. Key Responsibilities Manage legal collection and estate recovery accounts from intake through resolution. Coordinate with attorneys nationwide regarding litigation, collections, and legal recovery efforts. File, monitor, and track estate claims through probate and surrogate courts. Work with estate representatives, executors, administrators, and attorneys to resolve outstanding balances. Manage legal disputes, settlement negotiations, and attorney referrals. Submit and track insurance claim information for client processing. Maintain accurate account documentation, legal filings, and communication records. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FDCPA, privacy laws, and other applicable regulations. Serve as the primary liaison between clients, attorneys, courts, and internal departments. Qualifications Experience in legal administration, collections, paralegal work, or a collections law firm environment. Knowledge of probate and estate administration, debt collection practices, creditor rights, and court filing procedures. Strong organizational, communication, and case management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance.
