Job Summary Curcio & Bannon, PLLC is a litigation defense firm located in Orange County, New York. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join our reputable law firm. Our practice covers diverse areas of law, such as Labor Law, premises liability, automobile accidents, employment law, property damage, product liability, and insurance law. Our office offers flexible work hours and a welcoming environment where a new attorney can learn, thrive, and grow into an experienced professional. Candidate will have the opportunity to experience all aspects of litigation by handling his/her own case load from inception through trial and appeal. This includes handling discovery responses, attending court conferences, conducting depositions, drafting motions and Appellate briefs, orally arguing before the Appellate Division, and conducting trials. Candidate must have good writing and communication skills. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to New York State bar. Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw. Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and effective legal documents. Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
