Location:
Primarily in-office in New York's Hudson Valley, with limited flexibility available in certain circumstances. We prefer local candidates who enjoy collaborating closely with clients and colleagues.
Note:
Candidates must be admitted to practice law in New York and have at least 3 years of real estate law experience. Commercial real estate transaction experience is highly desirable. Job Description Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, and related real estate documents. Handle commercial and residential real estate transactions from contract through closing. Conduct title and survey review and perform due diligence. Advise clients regarding zoning, land use, development, and regulatory compliance matters. Represent clients in acquisitions, dispositions, financing transactions, and closings. Coordinate with lenders, title companies, developers, brokers, and government agencies. Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing practical legal guidance. Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to deliver outstanding client service. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active New York bar admission. 3+ years of real estate law experience. Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Commercial real estate transaction experience is highly preferred. Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
