Apple"s Legal organization safeguards that innovation and the culture behind it, and our Labor \u0026 Employment Law team sits at the center of how Apple treats its people worldwide. We"re looking for an employment attorney to join this team and provide practical, day-to-day legal support on the issues that matter most to a global workforce.\\n You"ll partner with Human Resources and business leaders on employee and labor relations matters, support internal investigations, and help apply employment law to real situations across a fast-moving, global business. You"ll work alongside more senior counsel on litigation matters and administrative charges, and you"ll build strong working relationships with HR and management as a responsive, reliable legal partner.
\\n\\nKey focus areas include:
\\nSupporting HR and management on day-to-day employee relations issues\\nAssisting with workplace investigations under the guidance of senior counsel\\nHelping manage outside counsel on litigation and agency charges\\nContributing to legal training for HR and management teams\\n Advise HR professionals and business leaders on employee and labor relations issues, including discipline, terminations, leaves of absence, and accommodations\\nSupport internal investigations into workplace complaints, working closely with senior counsel on sensitive matters\\nAssist in managing outside counsel on employment litigation and administrative charges\\nHelp develop and deliver legal training to HR and management on employment law and Apple policy\\nApply federal and state labor and employment laws (ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, and related state equivalents) to everyday business questions\\nPartner with HR, employee relations, and business stakeholders to work through personnel matters with sound legal judgment\\nStay current on employment law and regulatory developments and flag relevant changes to the broader team\\nRespond to time-sensitive legal questions from HR and management with clear, practical guidance 5+ years of relevant legal experience in labor and employment law\\nSolid working knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations (including ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, etc.)\\nJD or equivalent degree, with admission to at least one US state bar\\n Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment\\nExcellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-legal audiences\\nStrong client relationship skills and a collaborative approach to working with HR and management\\nPrior experience supporting management or HR teams directly\\nComfort working through ambiguous situations without established precedent\\nA sense of humor and an unwavering commitment to professionalism
