• New York, NY A highly regarded Am Law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its growing Financial Services Litigation practice in New York.

This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters involving financial institutions, investment advisers, broker-dealers, fintech companies, and other participants in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial litigation experience, excellent writing and advocacy skills, and the ability to manage complex matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Attorneys with experience representing regulated entities or working on financial services disputes are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

Manage complex litigation and arbitration matters from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other substantive filings Conduct legal research and analysis involving commercial and regulatory issues Handle all phases of discovery, including document review, written discovery, and depositions Prepare witnesses and support trial, hearing, and arbitration proceedings Advise clients regarding litigation strategy, risk management, and dispute resolution Work closely with partners and clients on high-stakes financial and regulatory matters Collaborate across practice groups on matters involving financial regulations, enforcement actions, and business disputes

Qualifications:

JD from an accredited law school Active New York Bar membership Approximately 5-7 years of litigation experience Strong commercial litigation, motion practice, and deposition experience Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills Experience with arbitration proceedings preferred Familiarity with regulated industries, financial institutions, or financial services matters is a plus Ability to independently manage matters while maintaining exceptional client service
