Job Overview We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our long‑standing law firm in Newark, Ohio. This includes litigation, probate, estate planning and real estate. Duties Assist with legal research, drafting, and case preparation. Support litigation, transactional, or general practice matters depending on firm needs. Draft motions, pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents. Attend hearings, depositions, and client meetings with senior attorneys Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active Ohio bar admission or eligibility to sit for the bar exam Proven experience conducting legal research using LexisNexis. Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise legal drafts and memoranda. Interest in developing a broad legal skill set.
