Civil Litigation Attorney - Of Counsel Mizak & Pacetti, LLC | Ohio | In-Office About the Role Mizak & Pacetti, LLC is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to join our growing law practice. This is a position for an attorney who is ready to manage a substantive caseload, appear regularly in court, and provide skilled representation to clients navigating Civil Litigation matters. Responsibilities Manage a caseload of Civil Litigation matters from intake through resolution Represent clients at hearings, pretrials, mediations, and trials in Ohio courts Draft pleadings, motions, agreed entries and related legal documents Conduct client consultations and maintain clear, consistent communication with clients throughout their matters Conduct discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, depositions, and financial disclosures Negotiate settlements and collaborate with opposing counsel, guardians ad litem, and other professionals involved in Civil Litigation matters Maintain accurate and timely billing records and case documentation Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in Ohio, in good standing Working knowledge of Ohio law and local court procedures Excellent written and oral advocacy skills Strong client management and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and high-emotion matters with professionalism and empathy Ability to manage a busy, independent caseload while collaborating effectively within a team environment Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable About the Firm Mizak & Pacetti, LLC is a growing general-practice law firm headquartered in Parma, Ohio, serving clients across southwest Cuyahoga County.
