Overview - Of Counsel or Associate Counsel

(www.gclawgroup.com) We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Attorney with a minimum of three years of legal practice to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across diverse legal disciplines, including estate planning, tax law, criminal law, family law, civil litigation, and more. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing comprehensive legal counsel, managing complex cases, and advocating effectively for clients. Responsibilities Provide expert legal advice across multiple practice areas - get into the courtroom with a mentor and do actual legal work. Draft and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity. Conduct thorough legal research utilizing LexisNexis to support case strategies and ensure compliance with procedural laws. Prepare for court depositions, trial proceedings, and litigation by organizing evidence and developing compelling arguments. Manage client communications effectively by explaining legal options clearly and maintaining professional rapport throughout case progression. Assist in trial preparation by coordinating witnesses, preparing exhibits, and ensuring all procedural requirements are met. Maintain meticulous case management records using legal case management systems to track case status and deadlines efficiently. Experience Minimum of three years of proven experience practicing law in a private practice setting. Demonstrated expertise in areas or practice for our firm. Strong skills in negotiation, legal advocacy, research, legal writing and drafting. Experience handling court depositions and trial preparation with a focus on personal injury cases or employment disputes preferred. Familiarity with procedural laws and statutory research to ensure compliance across various jurisdictions. Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high-quality work standards. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
