POSITION SUMMARY
Review incoming law enforcement reports to determine viability of filing criminal charges Evaluate assigned cases for prosecutorial merit and possible plea negotiations Research and write legal motions Competently, expeditiously and professionally handle all assigned court appearances Prepare and conduct jury trials Continually develop, maintain and improve all skills necessary to perform daily prosecutorial duties Manage office with (2) attorneys and (4) support staff
REQUIREMENTS
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school Admitted to and in good standing with the Oklahoma Bar Association Must have knowledge and experience with courtroom trial and procedures related to criminal law Minimum 5 years of prosecution experience required
