We're hiring a Defense Attorney to represent employers in workers' compensation matters while working alongside an experienced team in a supportive office environment that's been serving Oregon since the early 1970s. Duties Draft legal pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents for workers' compensation defense cases. Prepare deposition summaries, case materials, and supporting documentation for hearings and litigation. Assist with hearings before Administrative Law Judges and attend proceedings at the Oregon Workers' Compensation Board. Participate in client meetings, strategy sessions, and case discussions both in person and via Zoom. Draft opinion letters, concurrence letters, settlement agreements, and client status updates for attorney review. Maintain organized case files while managing deadlines and providing timely communication to clients and team members. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver high-quality legal representation for employer clients.
