3005082045-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks a Director Legal to lead legal strategy across our regional, not-for-profit healthcare system. In this role, you will advise executives on healthcare regulations, contracts, and risk management; oversee regulatory compliance and policy; direct litigation and outside counsel; and guide complex transactions, affiliations, and partnerships. You will manage and mentor a high-performing legal team, develop training, and foster a patient-first, ethical, and inclusive culture that supports LVHN's mission to improve community health. Responsibilities Provide strategic legal counsel on healthcare regulations, contracts, and risk management for LVHN's regional network Lead and mentor a legal team supporting hospitals, clinics, and specialty services Oversee review, negotiation, and drafting of complex healthcare, vendor, and employment agreements Ensure compliance with federal and PA state healthcare laws, including HIPAA, Stark, and Anti-Kickback Advise executives on governance, policy development, and enterprise risk issues Manage relationships with outside counsel and coordinate litigation strategy Develop and implement legal compliance training for leaders and staff Monitor regulatory changes and advise on business impact and mitigation strategies Support transactions, affiliations, and strategic partnerships Promote a patient-first, ethical, and inclusive culture in all legal decision-making Required Skills Healthcare law Regulatory compliance Contract drafting and negotiation Risk management Corporate governance Litigation management Team leadership Legal research and analysis HIPAA/Stark/Anti-Kickback expertise Policy development
