- + Significant experience with secured transactions (including real estate secured transactions) and related commercial lending laws + Meaningful experience representing financial services companies in large corporate, middle market, commercial and small business lending transactions + Excellent business judgment, sound decision-making and solid problem-solving and legal analytical skills + Ability to think strategically to identify trends and risks, and ability to facilitate and implement solutions + Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, both orally and in writing + Self-starter with ability to work both independently and collaboratively, as appropriate + Strong time-management and organizational skills + Familiarity with tax-exempt/bond, syndicated, cross-border, and letter of credit transactions a plus.
