Job Description

Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for assisting the firm by conducting legal research, drafting documents, maintaining client relationships, and appearing in court as required. Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a strong understanding of legal principles and practices, with experience in both civil and criminal law. The successful Associate Attorney should be dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and working as part of a team to provide a high level of legal service.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
  • Prepare legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and briefs
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiate settlements
  • Assist senior attorneys in preparing cases for trial
  • Handle client consultations and meetings
  • Stay current on legal trends and new case law
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients
Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience as an associate attorney, lawyer or similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of legal principles and practices
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Knowledge of legal research software and case management systems
  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school
  • Must be licensed to practice law
