Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join a regional law firm in Pennsylvania. This permanent, onsite position is suited for a litigation attorney who brings deep knowledge of corporate and business disputes and enjoys working in a collaborative legal environment. The attorney in this role will manage complex matters from initial assessment through resolution while serving as a trusted advisor to clients on a range of commercial litigation issues.
Responsibilities:
- Lead corporate and business litigation matters across every stage of the legal process, from early case evaluation through trial or settlement.
- Prepare and submit legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and discovery materials with a high degree of accuracy and strategic focus.
- Develop litigation approaches by conducting legal research, analyzing facts, and identifying risks and opportunities within each matter.
- Represent clients during depositions, court appearances, mediations, and trial-related proceedings.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders to move matters forward effectively.
- Advise clients on business-related disputes by offering practical legal guidance aligned with their objectives.
- Oversee case progress and deadlines while ensuring matters are handled efficiently in a fast-paced law firm setting. Requirements
- Active bar admission in Pennsylvania is required.
- At least 7 years of experience handling corporate, commercial, or business litigation matters.
- Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery documents.
- Strong legal writing, research, and case management capabilities.
- Experience managing complex business disputes within a law firm environment is preferred.
- Ability to work onsite on a permanent basis in West Chester, Pennsylvania, five days per week.
- Licensed attorney in good standing with a detail-oriented and client-focused approach.
