About The Opportunity Fields Howell's Yardley office is not a typical suburban law office, and this is a unique firm and opportunity. The office's attorneys handle high-exposure matters, complex litigation, and appellate work for international clients and high net worth individuals without having to commute into and out of Philadelphia and New York. The office features a collaborative environment designed to develop attorneys into future firm partners. Our ideal candidate has 3 to 6 years' litigation experience , top academics, and a desire to be part of a team where business generation is not required for advancement. The firm is looking for attorneys that are seeking a place to grow and develop while meeting the demands of sophisticated clients. Successful candidates will regularly interface with insurers and corporate legal departments. Attorneys have an opportunity to work on direct defense, litigation monitoring, and coverage. A New Jersey or Pennsylvania bar license is required, while applicants with additional licenses including New York (strong plus) are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent insurance carriers and their insureds in complex litigation matters Analyze insurance policies and prepare coverage opinions and legal memoranda Manage litigation from claim investigation through resolution, including strategy development Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations and arbitrations Assist with trial preparation and case strategy Communicate directly with insurer clients regarding case developments and legal strategy Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school 3 to 6 years of litigation experience , preferably in insurance defense or coverage.
