The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, excellent litigation skills, and an interest in developing within a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment. Attorneys will work directly with sophisticated insurer and corporate clients and will have opportunities to handle direct defense, litigation monitoring, and insurance coverage matters . Business generation is not required for advancement, and the firm is committed to developing attorneys into future firm partners. Responsibilities Represent insurance carriers and their insureds in complex litigation matters. Analyze insurance policies and prepare coverage opinions and legal memoranda. Manage litigation from claim investigation through resolution. Develop case strategy and provide legal guidance throughout the litigation process. Draft motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents. Take and defend depositions. Participate in mediations and arbitrations. Assist with trial preparation and case strategy. Communicate directly with insurer clients regarding case developments and legal strategy. Manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities effectively. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. 3-6 years of litigation experience , preferably in insurance defense or insurance coverage. Active bar admission in Pennsylvania or New Jersey required . Additional admission in New York is strongly preferred ; Delaware or Maryland admission is also valued. Experience with depositions, motion practice, and discovery management. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Experience analyzing insurance policies and drafting coverage opinions strongly preferred. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously. Experience working directly with clients and collaborating with attorneys and legal support staff. Interest in developing case management and supervisory skills. Strong academic background preferred.
