Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in appellate litigation or similar roles that focus heavily on legal research and writing. Candidates with relevant clerkship experience are especially encouraged to apply. Minimum requirements : 3+ years of experience in litigation, including substantial appellate experience. Judicial clerkship experience is preferred. Ability to review and analyze a myriad of legal issues. Exceptional research and writing skills. Exceptional oral advocacy skills. Draft motions, appellate briefs, pleadings and legal memoranda. Oral argument experience is preferred. Experience with depositions and trials is a plus. Experience using AI legal tools Westlaw CoCounsel and CoPilot is preferred. Experience in E-discovery software Relativity or RelativityOne is a plus. Strong work ethic and desire for professional development. Ability to work well independently under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently while using sound judgment in decision-making. Ability to manage relationships with clients and colleagues.
