Job Description

Associate A Plaintiff's personal injury lawyer handling cases in Maryland seeks an associate with 3-5 years of experience possessing excellent organizational, oral advocacy and writing skills, and a car.

Depending upon experience, the work will include: conducting legal research; drafting lawsuits, discovery responses, motions, oppositions, memoranda, and briefs; meeting with clients; taking and defending depositions; arguing motions; and trying cases (the size of the cases will depend on experience). This is a full-time position with negotiable benefits. The attorney with whom you will be working has a long history of developing legal talent.

Civil defense attorneys looking to switch sides are encouraged to apply. Strict confidentiality will be maintained.

Candidates must be admitted to Maryland Bar or be taking it this month. Candidates must also be admitted to the DC Bar or be willing to gain admission.

Experience working on a publication and having taken a trial advocacy course are helpful but not required.
