Job Description
Job Summary A respected Winter Park medical malpractice defense firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a litigation attorney with strong research, writing, deposition, and hearing experience who is ready to take on meaningful responsibility in a collaborative legal environment. Key Responsibilities
- Handle medical malpractice defense litigation matters from case development through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation documents.
- Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, and participate in court proceedings.
- Analyze case facts, medical records, expert materials, and litigation strategy.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal team members.
- Manage deadlines, case files, discovery, and litigation tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on candidate experience and overall compensation package.
- Base salary plus bonus.
