We are seeking a motivated attorney at any stage of practice, whether you are a recent graduate, early in your career, or a seasoned attorney looking for a meaningful change. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, willing to take ownership of their work, and genuinely interested in helping people. This position offers hands-on client contact, substantive legal work, mentorship, and the opportunity to develop or deepen your expertise in bankruptcy law. What You'll Do:
Meet with clients and guide them through the bankruptcy process Draft Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 petitions and related filings Appear at bankruptcy hearings and meetings of creditors Communicate with clients, trustees, creditors, and opposing counsel Draft motions, responses, and client correspondence Proactively manage cases to help clients obtain their discharge Travel to court hearings in Maryland as needed
Who You Are:
Genuinely motivated to help people through difficult financial situations Detail-oriented and thorough in your work Comfortable communicating with clients and building rapport Self-motivated and eager to learn a specialized practice area Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement Organized and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously Comfortable working in person at our Towson, MD office Bankruptcy experience is not required. We are willing to teach bankruptcy law to the right person. What we cannot teach as easily is integrity, work ethic, curiosity, compassion, and a genuine desire to do good work for your clients.
