• Handle medical malpractice defense litigation matters from case development through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, and participate in court proceedings.
• Review and analyze case facts, medical records, expert materials, discovery responses, and litigation strategy.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, court personnel, and internal legal team members.
• Manage case deadlines, litigation calendars, filings, and case files with accuracy and strong attention to detail. Compensation and Benefits
• Salary range: $100,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on candidate experience and overall compensation package.

• Manage medical malpractice defense litigation matters and support case strategy from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and handle court-related litigation responsibilities.
• Analyze medical records, expert materials, case facts, and legal issues to support defense strategy.
• 6 to 10 years of litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, healthcare litigation, or related civil litigation.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Florida and in good standing.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Deposition, hearing, motion practice, and discovery experience.
• Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize multiple matters, and maintain organized case files.
• Professional communication skills with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal team members.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and commitment to excellent client service. Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience handling medical malpractice defense matters.
• Experience working with medical records, healthcare providers, expert witnesses, and complex liability issues.
• Background in insurance defense, professional liability defense, or healthcare-related litigation.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative legal team.
