Role:
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Traffic department. This role is ideal for an attorney who is organized, client-focused, and comfortable handling a high-volume caseload involving traffic and related matters. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to confidently represent clients both in and out of court.
What You'll Do:
Review traffic tickets and related legal documents Conduct phone consultations with clients regarding traffic matters, deadlines, procedures, defenses, and available options Research legal issues and provide accurate guidance to clients Draft pleadings, legal correspondence, and court-related documents Manage court dates, case deadlines, and internal deadlines Attend court appearances, including pre-trial hearings and trials for traffic-related matters Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, opposing counsel, and team members
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas General knowledge of Texas Criminal Law and Traffic Law Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to explain legal matters clearly to clients and non-legal individuals Excellent customer service and organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, paperless environment Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook Trial experience preferred, but not required Why Join Us?
