About the role Bond & Botes is a well-established consumer bankruptcy firm helping individuals and families get a financial fresh start. Our Mississippi office is hiring an associate attorney to represent debtor clients through Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases, from initial consultation through discharge. You'll work directly with clients every day, supported by an experienced intake and paralegal team. What we're looking for Licensed to practice law in Mississippi (required) 2+ years of practice experience preferred; recent graduates who have already passed the Mississippi Bar will be considered Prior consumer bankruptcy experience strongly preferred (debtor or creditor side) Also a strong fit: backgrounds in family law/domestic relations, criminal defense, personal injury, or any practice involving direct, frequent contact with individual clients Comfortable managing a client caseload and communicating with people going through a stressful time Location flexibility Mississippi residents strongly preferred. If you live in the Jackson or Hattiesburg area, the position can be fully office-based or hybrid. Candidates elsewhere can work 100% remote and live where they choose.
