Minneapolis Attorney Compensation:
$90,000- $130,000
DOE Responsibilities:
Represent clients in criminal defense cases, ensuring their rights are protected and their voices are heard. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to build strong, evidence-based defense strategies. Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and develop innovative approaches to complex legal challenges. Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, keeping them informed and involved in their case progress. Prepare and file legal documents, motions, and briefs with precision and attention to detail. Negotiate with prosecutors to achieve favorable outcomes for clients, leveraging your advocacy skills. Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings, representing clients with professionalism and confidence.Qualifications:
What We're Looking For:
J.D. and an active Minnesota law license in good standing. 1-3 years of criminal law experience (internships, clerkships, or public defender experience welcome). Strong courtroom presence and litigation mindset. Excellent writing and negotiation skills. High emotional intelligence and client advocacy focus. Strong, highly proficient technical skills.
