We are a litigation-focused immigration law firm dedicated to providing high-quality representation to individuals and families navigating the U.S. immigration system. Our practice is centered on removal defense, asylum, federal litigation, and humanitarian immigration matters. Position Overview:
The Associate Attorney will manage and assist with a variety of removal defense matters, working closely with the firm's attorneys and legal staff. The position offers substantial courtroom experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to develop advanced litigation skills in immigration law.
Primary Responsibilities:
Represent clients before the Immigration Courts in master calendar and individual hearings Prepare clients and witnesses for testimony Develop case strategy and legal arguments Draft motions, briefs, declarations, and supporting legal memoranda Complete cross-service requirements and ensure compliance with court deadlines Review and organize documentary evidence and exhibits Conduct legal research on complex immigration issues Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case strategy and developments Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management QualificationsRequired Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active license and good standing with at least one U.S. state bar Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to client service
