This role involves managing a diverse caseload, engaging closely with clients, and collaborating with our legal team to achieve the best possible outcomes for families. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, custody, child support, domestic violence, adoption, separation agreements, and related issues. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents. Attend hearings, mediations, conferences, and court proceedings. Maintain clear, compassionate, and prompt communication with clients. Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure streamlined case management. Participate in firm meetings, case reviews, and team-building initiatives. Contribute to a positive, respectful, and energetic firm culture. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Licensed and in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar (or eligible for reciprocity). 1-3 years of family law experience preferred; recent graduates with strong interest in family law are encouraged to apply. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment. Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to client well-being. Positive, proactive attitude.
