Position Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced attorney with over 7 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in first-party property insurance law and be prepared to pursue new business opportunities while managing cases from inception to conclusion.
• What You'll Do:
• Serve as the representative for policyholders in matters related to first-party property insurance, including coverage disputes, claim denials, and bad faith claims.
• Conduct thorough reviews of insurance policies, claim documentation, correspondence, and related materials to evaluate coverage, identify potential issues, and build a compelling case.
• Perform extensive legal research and analysis to formulate innovative strategies and stay updated on evolving laws, regulations, and precedents in first-party property insurance.
• Manage a diverse caseload of first-party property insurance cases by drafting legal documents, pleadings, and motions while ensuring meticulous organization of all necessary documentation.
• Utilize strong negotiation skills to engage with insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and other parties in insurance disputes, seeking favorable settlements for clients.
• Represent clients in various court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials, utilizing persuasive advocacy skills to present compelling arguments.
• Provide clear and concise legal advice to policyholders, equipping them with knowledge and understanding of their rights, obligations, and available options under their insurance policies.
• Collaborate with a talented team of experts, fellow attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to foster a supportive environment that ensures seamless case management and optimal outcomes.
• Implement strategies to market services to potential clients and build business within the Atlanta area, with the support of our Business Development and Marketing teams.
• Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Georgia.
• Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for expertise in first-party property insurance law.
• Proven track record in generating new business and developing client relationships.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and trial skills, with the capacity to manage cases independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a client-focused approach.
