Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Trial Attorney to join our team, who is well-known in ME, NH, and across the country for representing the seriously injured against insurance companies and wrongdoers. We promote safety and accountability by winning compensation for our clients. We are client-focused and trauma-informed. Most clients are referred by lawyers or those looking for our legal expertise in jury trials, burn injuries, brain injuries, industrial accidents, wrongful death, product liability, and sexual abuse-survivor claims. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in litigation and personal injury. Prior experience in case management, social services, or medical offices is a plus. There are opportunities for growth and business development in this position as we grow. Responsibilities Manage client caseload from evaluation, intake, workup, and resolution. Work with our team to write demand letters, pleadings, legal memos, motions, legal briefs, ADR briefs, and other materials. Draft correspondence using common forms, and recapping interactions from calls, meetings, video conferences, many with AI integrations. Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, defense lawyers, court clerks and judges effectively. Conduct depositions of clients, witnesses, experts, and corporate officers. Argue motions before judges. Assist and lead in selecting juries. Assist and lead in trying cases. Ensure compliance with legal and ethics rules requirements. Qualifications Prior personal injury law, trial lawyering, or case management experience is a plus. Ability to document interactions in cloud-based case management systems and court e-filing (PACER and state court e-filing systems). Strong writing skills for legal drafting and proofreading documents. Experience or aptitude in credible, effective oral advocacy. Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player in a fast-paced environment.
