Description Robert Half is seeking a Corporate Generalist Attorney for a contract opportunity with a growing organization. This role is ideal for an attorney with 3-5 years of experience who enjoys working across a broad range of corporate legal matters and thrives in a dynamic business environment. The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting commercial transactions, contract negotiations, compliance initiatives, and customer-facing legal matters. This position can be performed fully remote or from the company's office in Danbury, Connecticut.

Pay Rate:

$60-$75 per hour Key Responsibilities

+ Review, draft, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements, including:

+ Sales agreements

+ Software license agreements

+ SaaS agreements

+ Vendor and service agreements

+ Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)

+ Provide legal support for customer and vendor negotiations.

+ Assist with the preparation and review of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

+ Manage and coordinate responses to customer security questionnaires, compliance inquiries, and government audits.

+ Partner with internal stakeholders across sales, operations, technology, and compliance teams.

+ Conduct legal research and provide practical business-focused guidance on a variety of corporate matters.

+ Support special projects and initiatives as needed and demonstrate flexibility in taking on new responsibilities. Requirements Qualifications

+ Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

+ Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. + 3-5 years of corporate, commercial contracts, or in-house legal experience.

+ Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.

+ Demonstrated experience with software licensing, including both on-premises and SaaS licensing models.

+ Experience supporting RFP responses, compliance reviews, security questionnaires, or audit-related matters is highly preferred.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

+ Willingness to learn new areas of law and contribute to a wide variety of projects.
