Job Description

Our client, a prominent law firm, is seeking a Labor & Employment Litigation Associate in Westborough, Massachusetts. This role offers the opportunity to handle a range of workplace disputes and advisory matters while working closely with experienced legal professionals. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in employment law, sound litigation skills, and the ability to manage matters with professionalism and attention to detail.

Westborough, MA Schedule:
Hybrid (4 days in, 1 day remote) at first, but then will go to 3 days in, 2 days remote over time
Salary:
$120,000 - $160,000 (depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
Represent employers in employment-related disputes before state and federal courts as well as administrative agencies. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and other legal filings in connection with labor and employment matters. Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and procedural issues affecting client matters. Support case strategy by preparing for hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings. Advise clients on workplace issues, employee relations concerns, and compliance with applicable employment laws. Collaborate with attorneys across the practice group to manage caseloads, develop arguments, and maintain high-quality client service.
Requirements:
3-6 years of experience in employment litigation at a law firm required. Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is required. Strong legal research and writing skills. Excellent advocacy, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Strong client counseling and communication skills. Sound professional judgment and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative approach and ability to build productive relationships with clients and colleagues. Eagerness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.
