This person keeps cases organized and moving, serves as a primary point of contact for clients, and works closely with attorneys and paralegals to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. It's a detail-heavy, high-volume role that requires strong organization, judgment, and comfort managing many moving pieces at once. Responsibilities Case Opening & Intake
  • Complete intakes, set up matters in Clio, prepare retainers
  • Open first-party (PIP) and third-party claims
  • Send Letters of Representation and, where applicable, Stop Work Letters to prior counsel; request prior files
  • Request BI limit disclosures Ongoing Case Management
  • Track and follow up on medical treatment (injections, procedures, other care); manage medical records requests and flag gaps or coverage issues for attorney review
  • Obtain and review police reports, including coordinating corrections
  • Communicate regularly with first
  • and third-party adjusters, medical providers, and clients (KOREAN-SPEAKING)
  • Schedule and reschedule IMEs and keep clients informed
  • Keep Clio and case files organized and current
  • Flag coverage issues (PIP vs. commercial, prior accidents) for attorney review
  • Answer general client questions and serve as the main liaison between the client and the firm (CCCA will mostly be dealing with NJ clients) Settlement Stage
  • Prepare and send initial demand packages with attorneys
  • Confirm client contact information and preferred check-delivery method
  • Identify and track liens, notify the handling attorney and relevant team members
  • Obtain signed releases Other
  • Review dash cam and surveillance footage for relevant case details when needed
  • General office support as needed (filing, coordinating with paralegals/attorneys) Who You Will Work With CCCAs take direction from multiple attorneys and paralegals (verbally, by text, and by email) and are expected to prioritize and juggle assignments from more than one source at a time.
Comfort working under multiple supervisors and communicating proactively about workload is important. How to be Successful
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to track many open items across a large case list
  • Strong written and verbal communication, especially with clients who may be anxious or asking for updates
  • Comfortable with ambiguity — cases move through different stages (pre-litigation to litigation) and the CCCA needs to track status and communicate it clearly even when visibility is imperfect
  • Good judgment on when to escalate (e.g., complex coverage issues, liens, denials) versus handle independently
  • Bilingual candidates (Korean-English) are a must given our client base
  • Prior experience in personal injury, insurance claims, or a similar client-coordination role is preferred but not required for the right candidate The firm is looking for someone who takes ownership of their case list, communicates well under a high volume of tasks, and is comfortable being the go-to person for clients during a stressful time in their lives.
