What You Will DoAdvise ASDS program leadership as a strategic legal partner on new business captures and program execution matters ranging from contract administration and compliance issues to disputes and litigationReview, draft, negotiate, and advise on a variety of government and commercial agreements, including contracts/subcontracts and transactions of all types (i.e., government, commercial, U.S. domestic, international, other transaction agreements, teaming and collaboration agreements, consortium and joint venture arrangements, intellectual property and non-disclosure agreements)Lead and support negotiations of all types and complexityAdvise on U.S. and foreign laws and regulations and support development of compliant solutions to meet business objectivesDraft legal, business, or commercial correspondence to customers and other third partiesAdvise the business on a broad spectrum of domestic and international strategic and operational mattersLead and support a variety of special initiatives and projectsPresent on legal topics for various purposes and audiences (e.g., presenting legal matters to senior business executives or Legal team leadership, training business or legal personnel)Manage outside counsel and the general counsel budget for matters in your purviewSome domestic and international travel (10-20%)

The salary range for this role is 204,800 USD
