Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. In this vital role, you will advocate for clients navigating complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and related issues. Duties Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce proceedings, child custody disputes, spousal support negotiations, and adoption processes for Cuyahoga County, Lorain, Summit, Medina, Erie, and surrounding counties. Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court filings with precision and clarity. Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, and procedural law to support case strategies. Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, developing case theories, and coordinating witness testimony. Attend court depositions, hearings, and mediations to advocate effectively on behalf of clients. Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, explain legal options, and gather necessary information. Collaborate with colleagues on complex litigation matters involving general & commercial litigation or personal injury cases when applicable. Experience 3+ years of proven experience practicing family law in a private practice with a strong understanding of statutory legal research and procedural law knowledge. Demonstrated ability in legal negotiation, client communication, and legal advocacy within a court environment. Experience managing multiple cases using legal case management systems efficiently. Strong writing skills for drafting motions, pleadings, and correspondence with clients and courts.

Pay:

$120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
