Family Law Associate Attorney, Fayetteville GA $130,000 to $200,000 per year plus bonus
JOB DESCRIPTION
A well-established and highly respected Georgia family law firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney to join its Fayetteville office. This is a full-time hybrid position offering a competitive base salary of $130,000 to $200,000 or more depending on experience, significant performance bonus opportunities, and a professionally supported environment designed to allow attorneys to focus on practicing law and serving clients. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage complex divorce, child custody, equitable division, alimony, modification, and family law cases from intake through resolution
- Conduct client consultations and convert prospective clients into retained matters
- Provide practical legal advice and strong advocacy in negotiations and litigation
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, agreements, and court documents
- Appear in court and represent clients in hearings and trials
- Communicate proactively with clients throughout the matter lifecycle
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff across multiple office locations
- Build and maintain a growing client following and referral network
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Georgia Bar License required
- Minimum 4 years of family law experience required
- Experience with complex divorce and child custody litigation
- Strong client communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage cases independently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to professionalism, service excellence, and client retention
- Self-motivated with a strong client-focused approach
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Litigation experience in Georgia family courts
- Experience with high-conflict custody and complex asset division matters
- Established client following a plus
- Familiarity with cloud-based practice management systems
