Family Law Family Law Attorney Position Overview :
We are seeking a talented and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an attorney with 2+ years of experience in family law to handle a diverse caseload, provide expert legal advice, and represent clients in both contentious and non-contentious family matters.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage a full caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, prenuptial agreements, and domestic violence cases. Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring they understand their rights and options. Prepare and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and discovery requests. Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences. Negotiate settlements and draft agreements that align with client objectives. Maintain strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts. Collaborate with team members and support staff to ensure efficient case management and client service. Stay current on legal developments and trends in family law to provide the best possible representation.
Qualifications :
3+ Years experience in litigation preferred. Strong understanding of family law principles, including divorce, custody, child support, and related issues. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to handle complex and high-stakes family law cases. Ability to manage a busy caseload with attention to detail and deadlines. Strong negotiation and litigation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. J.D. from an accredited law school. Licensed in CA in good standing.
