Our attorneys are supported by experienced paralegals and administrative staff, allowing them to focus on practicing law rather than managing paperwork. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, property division, domestic violence restraining orders, parentage actions, and post-judgment modifications. We are looking for an attorney who combines strong legal advocacy with empathy, professionalism, and exceptional client service. As a member of our team, you will manage your own caseload, collaborate with experienced attorneys and support staff, and develop creative legal strategies to help clients achieve favorable outcomes both in and out of the courtroom. Responsibilities Represent clients in all stages of family law proceedings, including dissolution of marriage, legal separation, child custody and visitation disputes, child and spousal support matters, property division, domestic violence restraining orders, and parentage actions Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies and provide sound legal advice Draft and review pleadings, motions, declarations, settlement agreements, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents Appear in court for hearings, settlement conferences, case management conferences, and trials Negotiate settlements and resolutions that align with clients' goals while minimizing conflict whenever possible Manage a diverse caseload from initial consultation through final resolution Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case developments, strategy, and expectations Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management and exceptional client service Stay current on developments in California family law and relevant procedural rules Experience Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in California and in good standing with the State Bar of California Excellent litigation, negotiation, legal research, legal writing, and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to confidently represent clients in hearings, settlement conferences, and trial Strong case management and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients during emotionally challenging situations Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff Sound judgment, professionalism, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service Experience with Clio, Westlaw, LexisNexis, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar legal technology platforms is preferred.
