Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide expert legal counsel and representation to clients navigating complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and spousal support. Your energetic approach will help clients achieve positive outcomes while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for advocacy, excellent negotiation skills, and a comprehensive understanding of family law procedures. Duties Represent clients in family law cases such as divorce, child custody disputes, visitation rights, and adoption proceedings with enthusiasm and professionalism Conduct thorough legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to stay current on evolving family law statutes and case law Draft clear, persuasive legal documents including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court filings Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes efficiently and amicably Advocate for clients during court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences with confidence and clarity Provide comprehensive legal advice on issues related to estate planning, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, environmental law, patent law, and litigation when relevant to family cases Maintain meticulous records of case progress and manage all administrative aspects of the law office related to client files and court deadlines Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction Proven experience practicing family law with a track record of successful case management and client advocacy Strong knowledge of legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis Demonstrated ability to handle complex litigation cases involving multiple areas of law including estate planning or environmental law is a plus Excellent writing skills for drafting precise legal documents and correspondence Prior legal administrative experience is preferred to ensure smooth case workflow management Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to mediate disputes effectively while maintaining professionalism Join us if you're ready to energize your legal career by helping families navigate challenging situations with confidence.
